Simply Daydreams & Diaries

Last week Simply Bows & Chair Covers had the pleasure of dressing the launch event of the new exhibition to feature at Seven Stories- ' Daydreams & Diaries, the Story of Jacqueline Wilson'. 

Dame Jacqueline Wilson is an award winning children's author and former Children's Laureate well know for her books, such as Tracey Beaker.

As with all the events that Simply Bows dress at Seven Stories, Charlotte ( Simply Bows & Chair Covers Newcastle) loves creating the perfect style which is often quirky & playful.  Charlotte worked closely with the events team and chose to style the room with bold strong colours, to compliment the colourful illustations of Jacqueline Wilson's books by NIck Sharratt.

We picked out 10 colours that all worked well together and designed a series of double bows using a wide organza as a base with a narrow bow tied through it. The style really worked and gave the attic at Seven Stories a magical and colurful look!
